We are looking to expand our team.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Developing and planning the AI Factory’s (AIF) portfolio of training offers within a friendly and open work environment in a highly motivated, international team
• Leading the design and organisation of training events and series, collaborating with and coordinating other trainers
• Ability and willingness to contribute with your knowledge to training (and consultancy) offers for the targeted user groups
• Analysing the requirements and needs of targeted user groups with respect to training (and consulting)
• Coordinating and organizing the corresponding work package of the AIF
• Fostering contact with collaboration partners as well as stakeholders from the European AI ecosystem, relying on your friendly personality and communication skills
• Supporting AI talent development in Europe and Germany by means of training and consulting within the AIF’s ecosystem
• Opportunities to work with national and European partners on novel AI projects from private and academic sectors
• Maintaining relationships with technology providers and system developers (hardware/software)

Basic Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in computer or data science, or other areas of scientific computing with at least 3 years of applied data analytics and machine learning/AI experience as senior engineer/data analyst in research or enterprise environments

Other Requirements

• Proficiency working in Linux environments
• Extensive knowledge about and practical skills applying Machine Learning/AI applications, frameworks, methods and models (e.g. Python, PyTorch, JAX, etc.)
• Willingness to keep up with current developments and to learn new technologies
• Knowledge and experience designing and organising training events and series as well as conducting your own training events
• Excellent English and preferably German presentation and writing skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Git-based version control systems like GitLab or GitHub
• Customer relationship management know-how
• Experience working at or with start-ups/small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)

up to E 13, see Entgelttabelle TV-L

Annual leave / compensatory time off

Overtime is compensated by additional time off
