Ignition SCADA Developer (m/f/d)
What you'll do
Develop and implement Unified Namespace (UNS) architectures to standardise data flow and ensure robust data governance across industrial systems
Design, customise and maintain user-friendly HMI and SCADA systems using Ignition that are tailored to meet specific operational requirements
You will collaborate with automation engineers to integrate Ignition with PLC systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient data exchange
Create dynamic, real-time dashboards and visualisations in Ignition to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making
You will apply DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines and system monitoring, to ensure that development and deployment processes are scalable, secure and efficient
Who you are
You possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field
You have extensive experience in industrial automation and are an expert in Ignition, HMI/SCADA systems and DevOps methodologies
Proficiency in Ignition modules (e.g. Perspective, Vision, Edge), UNS development, dynamic dashboards, PLC programming and database management is required
A significant advantage would be held by individuals with certifications such as Ignition Core or Gold Certification, or DevOps-related qualifications
You are a problem solver with strong analytical and project management skills, who is fluent in English and who has additional language (e.g. German) proficiency and you thrive in collaborative environments
