As a Warehouse Operations Manager you lead the entire operational team in the warehouse. You are end responsible for warehouse operations, Health and safety and quality control. You coach and lead your team in the achievement of daily objectives whilst monitoring the performance of customer KPIs. You are always striving to improve the current way of working. You provide the most reliable and efficient service to our customers at the lowest possible cost. You Develop and implement a strategy to create customizable solutions based on customer needs, while maintaining standard product offerings.

Your tasks

• Manages staff
• Handles situations independently guided by policies
• Applies subject matter knowledge to solve common issues.
• Continuously improve the existing operational processes + systems used.
• Ensure a smooth hand over of tasks
• You ensure daily updates in the Warehouse Management system of production results, system faults and stock deviations.
• Experience in a functional area routinely applying knowledge of theories, methods, techniques and processes.
• Develops people - coaching and mentoring to build organizational capability, talent and bench strength.

Your profile

• +7 years’ experience in logistics
• +5 years’ experience in managing
• Lean thinking and continuous improvement
• Interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
• Strong personality; effective in different cultural settings, impact driven, optimistic & stress resistant
• Process-oriented approach and excellent attention to detail.
• Resilient team player, a high level of commitment, the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Driven by data & process standardization, able to make sound analysis and translate this into action plans and assurance of ‘on time and in full’ delivery
• Passion for team development
• Excellent written and verbal English & German
