Key Responsibilities:

Your role will focus on helping businesses understand how Shopify can meet their unique needs and propel their growth.

  • Understand prospects' business goals and challenges, helping them grow with Shopify products.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to target potential customers.
  • Leverage your network and industry knowledge to generate high-quality leads.
  • Clearly demonstrate Shopify’s value proposition, crafting detailed plans with prospects.
  • Create and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets and achieve revenue targets.
  • Source, build, and manage your sales pipeline with precise business forecasting.
  • Engage with C-level executives and collaborate on projects to enhance business processes.
  • Travel to engage with prospective clients, attend trade shows, and participate in events.

Your profile

About the role

Fluency in German required.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English and native German is required; fluency in AI is expected.
  • Experience in a closing sales role, with a track record of acquiring new business and exceeding targets.
  • Demonstrated passion for identifying and closing high-value opportunities.
  • Expertise in negotiating complex deals with win-win outcomes.
  • Ability to create sales playbooks for complex evaluations, collaborating with internal teams.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset, comfortable discussing various product offerings.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, building a territory, and developing a robust pipeline.
  • Comfort with technical product knowledge and becoming a Shopify product expert.
  • Ability to create multi-product pipeline strategies driven by sales, marketing, and partnerships.
  • Proactive forecasting to set priorities with clear action plans.
  • Extensive experience with sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn).
  • Knowledge of industries like Ecommerce, Fintech, Retail, or Hospitality; experience with POS systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with MEDDICC, BANT, and Challenger sales methodologies is advantageous.
