Responsibilities of the role:

• Carrying out of commissioning responsibilities on site. This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the Commissioning plan for the project.
• Supervising Site Supervisors (commissioning and testing personnel on site).
• Conducting Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.
• Reporting Progress on all Commissioning activities both internally and externally.
• Attending weekly commissioning meetings and conducting weekly commissioning activities.
• Development of the Project commissioning schedule in conjunction with the project planners.
• Conducting of all day to day on site commissioning operations
• Supervising testing of power and distribution systems.
• Carrying out electrical self isolations
• Generating Permits for testing works

Requirements:

• Relevant certificates in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in a similar role within a construction environment with experience in Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects is desirable.
• Experience of working on LV/MV or HV systems with commissioning experience.
• Electrical Testing & Verification with min 3 years’ experience.
• Construction experience / understanding required with safety experience.
• Solves problems analytically and acts decisively
• Process driven candidate and focus on EHS and Quality Work Management Systems and Processes is desirable
