Your role will include

• Preparing design documents for building steel constructions, vessels and containers, apparatuses using AutoCAD or ProSteel 3D corresponding to static and static steelwork connections design engineering, chiefly in mechanical engineering and plant construction, in industry (Project design and planning, fabrication drawings)
• Discussions and consulting with customers, preparing dimensions on site
• Developing building solutions for extensions or alterations to existing plant
• Preparing models using ProSteel 3D or Inventor, according to the task set
• Accompanying technical designers participating in projects
• Project coordination with the plant design engineer
• Customer care during realisation of projects

Requirements

• Completed studies as a qualified engineer/ Bachelor/ Master level in the field of structural steelwork, mechanical engineering, plant construction, or building
• Secure in construction and in the regulations for steel constructions and building
• Already experienced in building steel structures and constructions, mechanical engineering and plant and apparatus construction, building
• Knowledge of DASt Regulations (German Committee for Steel Construction) and welding regulations
• Secure in the use of AutoCAD (CAD specialist), also ProSteel 3D, Inventor
• Communication, design and organisational skill and adroitness
• Creativity, stamina and the capacity for teamwork as well as analytic thinking and actions and the ability to plan ahead are necessary
• Driving licence
