Expectations of the Role:

- Maintain a clean, safe and organised laboratory environment, following safety regulations

- Respond to inquiries from teachers, students and other staff members

- Positive interactions with Science team leader and team members as well as the students and parents

- A current first aid course and further training as a fire protection assistant would be an advantage- Monitor inventory of supplies, ordering additional as necessary

- Assist the teachers by preparing and cleaning up for laboratory activities

- Provide technical support and guidance for students during practical work

- Maintain accurate records of chemical inventories, safety inspections and incident reports

- Preparation of the Science Department budget

- Maintain science laboratory booking schedule

We are looking for:

- Experience and/or Certification in Science or Laboratory Technician or specialized medical training

- Preparation of materials and equipment (solutions, chemicals, etc for experiments)

- English language is mandatory, German would be an advantage

- Effective collaborator and team player

- Demonstrating initiative and follow through, good organization skills, flexible
