We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as a Working student (m/f/d) Simpack Tech Writer User Assistance to join our team.

The SIMULIA Motion User Assistance Development team creates the technical documentation that helps engineers worldwide master Simpack and motion apps on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. We're talking everything from software capability descriptions and deep-dive technical specs to tutorials and workflows in multi-body system engineering. When new features launch, we're the ones making sure users actually know how to use them effectively..

Role description & responsibilities:

Join the SIMULIA motion user assistance team and make complex engineering software accessible to users around the globe:

• Fill the gaps – Enhance existing documentation with missing details when software functionality gets upgraded
• Document what's new – Create clear, comprehensive documentation for brand-new software features
• Fix what's broken – Update and correct docs based on real feedback from our technical sales team and users
• Build learning experiences – Create and improve Simpack tutorials and example models that actually teach people
• Work with pro tools – Write in HTML editors and manage your workflow using Jira and Git
• Shape the future – Collaborate with technical writers, product managers, and developers to create user assistance that people genuinely find helpful

Qualifications:

• You're currently studying Mechanical Engineering, (Applied) Mathematics, Physics, Technical Communication, or a similar technical field
• You have basic knowledge of multi-body system (MBS) simulation, structural (FEA) simulation, or another CAE area
• You've used commercial CAE tools (Simpack, Abaqus, Ansys, etc.) and ideally worked with Jira and Git
• You're fluent in English
• You have strong communication skills and genuinely enjoy breaking down complex topics into clear, written explanations
