What can you expect?

• You provide technical support and monitoring of the assigned ships
• You ensure compliance with classification and flag state regulations as well as international safety and environmental standards (ISM, ISPS, MLC)
• You plan, organize, and accompany dry-dockings, repairs, and other activities related to vessels’ performances
• You manage budgeting and cost control in the technical area
• You collaborate closely within our ship management team and internal departments (Crewing, Chartering, Procurement)
• You select, manage, and monitor external service providers and suppliers
• You participate in audits and inspections, including preparation and follow-up
• You continuously optimize operating processes to increase efficiency and safety
• You handle daily maintenance and administration of the vessels
• You conduct regular vessel visits

Your profile

• You have completed studies in marine engineering, naval architecture, maritime technology (or similar) or completed training as a marine engineer with several years of seafaring experience, or have several years of professional experience as a technical inspector in a shipping company or practical experience as a senior engineer (preferably as a chief engineer) on seagoing vessels
• You possess solid knowledge of maritime regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM Code, classification guidelines)
• You ideally have experience in planning and executing dry-dock projects
• You are proficient with MS Office and typical technical management systems (e.g., PMS)
• You have good English and German skills, spoken and written
• You demonstrate strong technical understanding and analytical thinking
• You show high commitment and ability to work under pressure
• You have organizational strength and cost awareness
• You possess team and communication skills
• You have a sense of responsibility and a solution-oriented work approach
• You are willing to undertake international business travel and aboard assignments
• You hold a driver’s licence
