Deine Aufgaben

Are you interested in innovations and the application of future wireless technologies? In our team for standardization and radio regulation of communication systems, you will support knowledge management, tool and simulation creation

Dein Profil

  • Programming of scripts and creation of databases
  • Simulation of communication systems
  • Literature research (e.g. ETSI and 3GPP documents, CEPT reports)
  • Preparation of presentations/reports on sub-areas of the standardization and regulation of communication technologies

Qualification requirements

  • Student of Communications/Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering/Information Technology
  • Experience in programming with Python
  • Good knowledge of English and German language
  • Experience with the simulation tool Matlab
  • Rapid adaptation to forward-looking issues in automotive radio communication
  • Enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team
  • The job requires regular attendance at the Bochum location

Optional

  • Knowledge of communication standards such as 5G, LTE and Wi-Fi
  • Experience in programming Omnet++, SUMO and/or databases
  • Basic knowledge of network technologies
