Your key responsibilities:

As a Scientist Quality & Food Safety (m/f/d), you play an essential role in ensuring that this commitment to quality is upheld throughout our operational processes. Your goal is to guarantee top-tier products and drive outstanding performance across the production line.

  • Conduct incident management via the PRIMP process (Product-related incident management program), relevant process implementations, control risk materials, manage audit nonconformances (CAPA), conduct root cause analysis and effective corrective/ preventive actions, and implement preventive actions from the incident.
  • Manage the Quality Management Program and drive continuous improvement to achieve the factory's quality KPIs.
  • Optimize quality control standards in the production process and support process quality management to ensure high-quality products.
  • Ensure the implementation of the parts of Mars Quality Management Systems on-site, coordinate HACCP programs, and oversee PRP reviews, implement and sustain multiple Mars corporate quality standards.

What we are looking for:

  • A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Food Chemistry, Food Technology, OR Quality Management.
  • At least several years of consistent experience in quality assurance within a multinational food company.
  • Fluency in English and German (both in written & verbal communication).
  • Strong IT skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000/ FSSC22000), quality programs (HACCP, GMP, Hygienic Design), and legal requirements for food safety.
  • Experience in food process design and developing quality standards and procedures; TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) experience is a plus.
