As our Data Center Security Manager (m/f/d), you will provide functional expertise, leadership, and guidance to local site management. You will fully manage the in-house security personnel and are in charge and fully accountable for the day-by-day security operation at the respective site(s). As our Data Center Security Manager, you will be based in Frankfurt and responsible for the Frankfurt and Rhine-Ruhr regions.
What you will do
Be responsible for the general Data Center Security Operation
Assist in or lead security projects
Assist alongside Central Security in Process development, design, and implementation
Work closely alongside regional and central Security counterparts to develop, maintain, and improve the operational standards
Oversee arrangements between internal departments to ensure that all security aspects are correctly transitioned from a project’s construction phase to a live facility
Support site personnel during incidents and act as an escalation point where necessary
Coordination of customer-specific security demands/requests
Support of internal/external audits
Support Operations, Sales, and Customer Management with customer requests and attend meetings where necessary
Play an integral role in the local team and provide support and statistics to colleagues to help identify trends and implement improvement plans
Support and advice during construction/tenant fit-out
Be responsible for the training and development of security staff
Control budgets for security operations
Management of all security Personnel
Produce monthly security reports as required by line management
Identify the security Faults/issues of Security systems and take appropriate measures to resolve them, including the planning of regular maintenance and remedial fixes
Undertake On-Call duties as required by the business
Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
What we are looking for
Several years of experience in the security industry, ideally within Data Center Security and/or critical infrastructure, and corporate security
Fluent in German and English
Ideally familiar with Data Center industry security standards and accreditations, and/or in other critical infrastructure areas
Solid experience with up-to-date security technology such as access control systems, CCTV, Fire Suppression & Detection
Experienced leader and people manager
Strong security policy and procedure knowledge and background
Solid background in managing medium to large security operations
Experience in a multi-cultural environment
Ability to develop and produce meaningful security metrics
Strong ability to prioritize excessive workloads
Demonstrable skills in leadership, management, relationship building, and collaboration
Ability to adapt and guide teams through dynamically changing environments
Self-motivation and the ability to use one’s own initiative
