Sunday Natural emerged from a long-standing passion and research in the fields of health, healing, and personal growth. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market was the original motivation for founding Sunday Natural in 2013. Your role

• Take full ownership of the entire lifecycle of supplement formulation – from concept development to market-ready recipes
• Define the product purpose and exact dosage, creating precise theoretical formulations by selecting and balancing active ingredients
• Conduct specification checks, verify raw material availability, and ensure accuracy of active content calculations – taking into account physical properties such as granulation size, moisture content, and homogeneity
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges, including stability, compatibility, capsule fill limits, discoloration, or stickiness
• Lead the scale-up process together with manufacturing partners – including root cause analysis of production stoppages and optimize formulations for consistent, scalable manufacturing
• Collaborate with the Quality department and external laboratories to confirm compliance, and take corrective action when results are unsatisfactory
• Maintain a comprehensive formulation database to continuously improve product development efficiency
• Work closely with cross-functional partners like R&D, Supply Chain and Regulatory to ensure smooth handover into commercial production
• Reformulation across the entire product lifecycle, including raw material substitutions or specification changes

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline
• Professional experience in pharmaceutical development, nutraceuticals, OTC / product development, dietary supplement manufacturing – ideally with a strong interest in transitioning toward clean-label nutraceutical approaches
• Proven track record in developing and manufacturing nutraceutical or dietary supplement formulations, with deep expertise in single-dosage form development
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, capable of managing multiple development projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to combine scientific precision with business considerations to deliver competitive and compliant products
• Excellent communication skills to clearly explain complex formulation decisions to cross-functional teams
• Based in Berlin (Germany) or Warsaw (Poland), or willing to relocate to one of these locations
