Your tasks

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions:

Sales & customer service

  • Active support and advice for their team in their departments (Make Up, Skin Care, Hair Care, Fragrance) and beauty trends on the sales floor
  • Living the Sephora Attitude (Welcoming, Knowing, Closing)
  • Selling products through in-depth product knowledge and establishing customer relationships at eye level
  • Passing on knowledge about products, trends and beauty news

Team Leadership

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the team to deliver outstanding customer experience
  • Induction of new employees and organization of training courses
  • Floor management to ensure smooth daily operations and commercial excellence
  • Acting as a role model in the Sephora Attitude and passing on the Sephora DNA
  • Delegating tasks and ensuring their successful execution
  • Communicating targets clearly and motivating the team to achieve them

Operations

  • Carrying out inventories to ensure optimum availability of goods
  • Responsible for the full product handling cycle: Receiving goods, proper storage, booking out, managing returns, and managingtesters.
  • Responsibility for the proper opening and closing of the store, including cash register closing
  • Overseeing daily store maintenance: cleanliness, pricing, product refill, tester ordering, etc.
  • Collaborating on Visual Merchandising, brand updates, and in-store animations
  • Supporting Click & Collect processes if available
  • Responsibility to run the department according to Sephora Audit rules
  • Expense monitoring and management for department

Commercial Performance

Responsibility for achieving monthly and annual sales targets including year-on-year sales growth

  • Customer satisfaction & feedback
  • Staff productivity & engagement
  • Stock availability & replenishment efficiency
  • Compliance with operational routines
  • Turnover vs. targets
  • Development of the category
  • Control of retail key figures such as MS, IPT, AVB, CR, number of services
  • Inventory on schedule

At least 3 years of professional experience in the respective department

Strong understanding of retail KPIs and store operations

Comfortable with visual merchandising, stock management, and customer service

Confident in using retail systems and tools

Good knowledge of the beauty industry & trends

Fluent in English or native language of the country
