Mission Brief

In our Lean Team, you are leading the transformation of our production from prototyping into serial production, fostering a continuous improvement culture through our lean initiatives, and driving target-oriented improvement projects across the organization. We collaborate closely with operations, quality, engineering, and our leadership teams to enable our organization to pull on the biggest levers on our way towards our company vision.

Your Role in Our Space Mission:

• Transform our new production facility into a Lean production plant
• Lead the transformation of our production from prototyping into serial production
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, quality, engineering, and leadership teams to drive Lean initiatives
• Train our employees in our in-house Lean training bootcamps
• Coach & support employees at all levels in Lean principles and tools
• Develop and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of our Lean initiatives

Qualification Checklist

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
• Deep knowledge of Lean principles, tools, and techniques (ability to transfer knowledge to high variance, small batch size production)
• At least 5 years of work experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and training abilities (motivate & drive change)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of the organization
• Experience with data analysis & process mapping
• Strong skills in Excel & Jira, Visio & Power BI is a plus
• Fluent in English & German
