ArcelorMittal seeks a Payroll Services Specialist. Role involves payroll preparation in SAP, HR tasks, compliance, advising employees, and managing documentation. Requires fluency in German and English, and strong SAP skills.
Proper and transparent execution of payroll and personnel administration tasks. Ensuring accurate monthly payroll and travel expense accounting. Audit-proof management of payroll documentation. Responsibilities:Handling all HR tasks, including ongoing payroll preparation for a defined group of employeesExecution of necessary entries in SAP via manual input, batch, or interface proceduresReview of payroll results based on logs and outcomes of payroll runs and booking resultsPayroll control and ensuring compliance with legal and company regulationsResponding to inquiries and advising employees on HR matters (payroll, social security, taxes, labor law)Ensuring traceability and proper archiving of documents/data according to company regulationsEnsuring audit-proof documentation and correct use of organizational managementWork in archive systems, management of required documentationHandling certification processes, computer-aided certification workflows, and travel expensesCreation of statistics, evaluations, and reporting tasksParticipation in projects and temporary project teamsOperational handling of special tasks and execution of operational tasksTraining of decentralized time data managers and travel data recorders based on company regulations and time management documentationOngoing time data entry and support with special tasks Requirements:University or technical college degree or completed commercial trainingProfessional experience in payroll, personnel services, or as an alga-certified payroll accountantExpertise in payroll control and HR processesStrong SAP skills and confident PC user skillsFluency in German (spoken and written required B2/C1)Very good English skills (at least B2/C1)Knowledge of modern office communication technologyProficiency in SAP, archiving rules, collective agreement regulations, general terms and conditions (MTV), application guidelines, forms, SAP manual, documentation, and statisticsResult-oriented and able to act purposefully toward achieving agreed goalsHigh sense of responsibility and accountabilityTeam-oriented with strong customer orientation and stakeholder managementDetermined, solution-oriented thinking with strong problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Stress-resistant and adaptable to changing prioritiesStrong planning, organizing abilities, and attention to detailAbout UsArcelorMittal is the world's leading steel and mining company, with a presence in 60 countries and primary steelmaking facilities in 15 countries.
