Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement Consultant to lead and optimize our clients’ sourcing and procurement strategies using SAP S/4HANA solutions. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and enhance procurement processes that drive operational efficiency and cost savings. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and procurement best practices to deliver tailored solutions that align with client business objectives. Strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to innovation are essential for success in this role.

Main Responsibilities:

• Advise/Lead the creation and execution of sourcing and procurement strategies in SAP S/4HANA, aligning with client business objectives.
• Evaluate procurement processes to pinpoint improvement areas, leveraging SAP S/4HANA to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create and implement SAP S/4HANA solutions for sourcing and procurement, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems.
• Work with finance, supply chain, and IT teams to ensure cohesive procurement solutions that effectively address client needs.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing performance to maximize value.
• Perform market research to stay informed on industry trends, supplier dynamics, and innovative procurement practices.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and regulations, identifying and mitigating risks in the supply chain.

Your profile

Requirements:

• Many years (at least 8 years) experience in sourcing and procurement consulting, specializing in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA sourcing and procurement modules (e.g., MM, Ariba) with hands-on implementation experience.
• Proven leader who mentors teams, driving success through effective collaboration and strategic direction.
• Experienced in managing SAP projects, aligning with client expectations, and delivering on time and within budget.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to analyze complex business challenges and design effective solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communicator, engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Certifications: SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement certification is preferred.
