Our mission is to connect best-in-class, passionate engineers with fast-growing digital & technology companies.We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Windows and Chef experience to join a long-term banking project for an international client.This role requires deep hands-on expertise, strong ownership of infrastructure and automation, and the ability to work in a complex, regulated environment. Fluent English is essential, as this is a role for a foreign banking client with daily international collaboration.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and maintain AWS infrastructure (Windows & Linux EC2) using Terraform / TerragruntOwn and develop Chef-based automation, including creating and maintaining cookbooks for complex vendor software deploymentsAdminister and support Windows and Linux systems in cloud environments with a strong focus on stability, security and automationDeploy, operate and support Kubernetes (EKS) workloads using Helm and GitOps (ArgoCD)Build, maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CIHandle complex infrastructure, deployment and integration issues across multiple systems and databasesImplement and improve automation, monitoring and logging across the platformCollaborate closely with cloud, DevOps and application teams in an international setupTake responsibility for infrastructure reliability, scalability and continuous improvementRequirementsSenior-level experience as a DevOps / Cloud Engineer (banking or regulated environments are a strong plus)Strong hands-on experience with Chef (cookbooks, automation, configuration management) – must haveAdvanced Windows administration experience on AWS (EC2) – must haveSolid experience with Linux administration in cloud environmentsProven experience with Terraform / Terragrunt (Infrastructure as Code) – must haveHands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), Helm and GitOps tools (e.g. ArgoCD)Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI)Good scripting skills (PowerShell and/or Python)Strong understanding of AWS fundamentals (VPC, networking, EC2, EKS)Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex technical areasFluent English (daily communication with international teams)We offerPayment in either USD or PLN (we have a branch in Poland)Regular company events and integrations (meetups)Ability to access & use coworking office spaces in every major city in PolandUnlimited legal advice & support with B2B partnership and self-employmentMissing anything you like?
