Your tasks

What you'll do

Ready to take ownership of a large-scale AI platform? We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) to help us run, automate, and scale SAP's AI Core services. In this role, you’ll work across different technologies to ensure our platform is stable, secure, and performs flawlessly for our users. Your tasks include to:

• Design, build, and automate our cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure it's scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Develop our observability stack (monitoring, logging, tracing) to guarantee platform health and drive continuous improvements in our systems and practices.
• Partner closely with development, security, and quality teams to create a seamless and robust platform.
• Embrace a 'you build it, you run it' culture. This includes participating in an on-call rotation to support the systems you help create.

What you bring

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience with a focus on Kubernetes and Helm, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with observability tools such as VictoriaMetrics, Loki, Jaeger and/or Grafana.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a willingness to ensure platform reliability through participation in an on-call rotation.
• Skilled in managing cloud resources via Infrastructure as Code (IaC), with strong proficiency in scripting and automation using Go, Python, Bash, or other.
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Beneficial

• Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Knowledge of Crossplane for managing infrastructure as data
