Are you passionate about advancing RNA technologies and shaping the future of medicine? At Miltenyi Biotec, within our R&D Reagents Department, you will play a key role in evaluating and implementing next-generation chemical cell transfection platforms to accelerate RNA-based therapies

Your

• Focus on developing lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulations, as well as purification, and characterization methods .
• Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of innovative chemical cell transfection technologies.
• Collaborate within a cross-functional team, working on chemical modifications of LNPs and conducting cell-based functional assays.
• Independently plan and execute experiments with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Analyze experimental data and present your findings in internal group and interdisciplinary meetings

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, ideally complemented by relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience in LNP preparation, cell culture techniques, transfection, and cell‑based analytical methods such as flow cytometry or functional assays.
• Solid understanding of RNA technologies and standard molecular biology techniques.
• Knowledge of lipid chemistry and analytical methods (e.g., DLS, fluorescence spectroscopy, UV spectroscopy, HPLC, MS) is an advantage.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities paired with excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in cross‑cultural teams; fluency in English and working proficiency in German
