To support our team, we are looking at our location in Travemünde as soon as possible for a:

Public Affairs & Communications Manager (m/f/d)

The area of responsibility includes:

• Maintaining and developing relationships with authorities, port authorities, associations, etc.
• Developing and implementing public affairs strategies to support corporate goals
• Preparing, supporting, and following up on negotiations with partners and customers
• Providing legally compliant advice and coordination on relevant issues, particularly in the area of contracts (review, drafting, negotiation)
• Preparation of presentations and statements
• Monitoring of political and industry-relevant developments, reporting to management
• Being responsible for the company’s PR strategy and contacts

We expect:

• Several years of professional experience
• Strong networking skills with authorities and associations
• Negotiation skills, analytical skills, strategic thinking
• Legal understanding and experience in advising on regulatory issues
• Very good English skills. German, Swedish or Polish are a plus
• Proactive, engaging communication style and team orientation
