The YOOtheme GmbH is a successful software company in Hamburg, Germany. We develop modern web applications and are one of the leading providers of Joomla and WordPress themes and extensions.

We are looking for a talented Web Designer to join our team full-time in our office in Hamburg. You get to work in a creative atmosphere on interesting and challenging projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop websites and user interfaces
• Design illustrations, icons, logos und signets
• Build layouts using the YOOtheme page builder
• Develop new features for the YOOtheme page builder
• Work with an international community

Qualifications

• College or university degree in Design, Media Computer Science or related
• Excellent skills in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS and web standards
• Experience with content management systems
• Team-oriented, responsible, flexible and independent approach
• High-level of commitment and quality awareness

Nice to Have

• Experience with WordPress or Joomla
• Experience with page builders like Webflow, Squarespace or Wix
• Experience with design tools like Figma or Adobe XD
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and PHP
