Your tasks
Role Overview
As Head of Sales (Insurance), you’ll take a leading role in shaping Enzo’s partnerships with the insurance industry. Your mission is not to “sell” - it’s to solve. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our partners to help them unlock the full potential of Enzo’s one.drop technology, ensuring they reach their strategic and operational goals.
This role requires a mix of strategic depth, empathy, and hands-on drive. You’ll personally lead engagements with senior insurance executives, create lasting relationships built on trust and value, and establish collaboration formats that turn partnerships into ecosystems.
As Enzo scales, you’ll lead by example - combining your own front-line engagement with the gradual development of a small, high-performing commercial team. You’ll set the tone for how Enzo builds partnerships: customer-first, data-driven, and execution-oriented.

Partner Success & Value Creation: Work closely with insurers to understand their strategic priorities and operational challenges - ensuring Enzo’s solutions deliver measurable impact and long-term value.
Customer-Centric Growth: Build and nurture trust-based partnerships that naturally expand within insurer portfolios through proven results and consistent collaboration.
Strategic & Structured Engagement: Design and facilitate recurring interaction formats (executive exchanges, steering sessions, workshops) that foster alignment and co-innovation between Enzo and our partners.
Market Development & Thought Leadership: Identify new partnership opportunities and represent Enzo at industry events and innovation platforms, positioning us as the trusted partner for intelligent water risk prevention.
Hands-On Leadership: Lead by example - personally engage, negotiate, and deliver, while progressively developing and mentoring future team members as Enzo scales. Project & Stakeholder Management: Oversee key insurer projects end-to-end, ensuring structured execution, clear accountability, and seamless coordination across Product, Operations, and Data teams.

Qualifikation
Deep Industry Understanding: You have a solid grasp of the insurance ecosystem - ideally property insurance, claims, or innovation - and understand the transformation pressures and opportunities within it.
Trusted Relationship Builder: You’ve built long-term, trust-based relationships with C-level and senior executives, turning shared objectives into measurable joint success.
Hands-On Commercial Driver: You’re a proactive doer who enjoys being close to customers - from first meeting to strategic rollout - always ensuring value creation and tangible outcomes.
Consultative & Structured Communicator: You combine analytical structure with empathy, bridging strategic, operational, and technical perspectives to articulate clear and compelling value.
Project Leadership & Balanced Management: You know how to design and deliver complex initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and balance leading by example with mentoring others as the organization scales.
Fluent in German and English.
Bonus Points
Experience in InsurTech, PropTech, or consulting for insurance clients.
Strong network with insurance executives in DACH or Europe.
Background in solution-based sales or customer success within a B2B tech environment.
