Your mission

Contribute to aevoloop’s material innovation by developing scalable purification processes that transform sustainable chemistry into products.

• Develop scalable purification processes for innovative, sustainable chemical building blocks used as feedstock for our novel polyester-based plastics.
• Identify and evaluate suitable purification techniques through creative lab-scale experiments, exploiting the chemical and physical differences of the target molecules in the product mixture.
• Develop analytical methods to assess the properties and purity of the input and output streams to derive product specifications.
• Use purified products from lab-scale experiments to identify and evaluate new aevoloop product opportunities.
• Document your work thoroughly and make use of modern digital tools for maximum data efficiency.

Your profile

• Degree in Organic Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, concluded with a PhD in this field.
• Ideally experienced with cGMP, ISO 9001, or equivalent quality systems
• Proficiency in analytical instrumentation and data interpretation
• Proven track record in project management and successful implementation of processes/syntheses
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); German language skills are advantageous.
• You bring a hands-on mindset, structure your work efficiently, and collaborate seamlessly across disciplines – even under the dynamics of a fast-paced start-up environment.
