Your tasks

Role Overview
You’ll oversee financial operations for two Swiss entities, managing a small accounting team (2 direct reports). Using NetSuite, you’ll ensure accurate and compliant financial processes while collaborating closely with HQ and Swiss stakeholders.

  • Lead Swiss Entities: Manage full-cycle accounting for both Swiss subsidiaries, including AP/AR, general ledger, intercompany accounting.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop two team members; oversee workload, reviews, and performance alignment.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate month-end close, statutory reporting adhering to Swiss GAAP FER, VAT, and other local laws.
  • Audit & Tax: Lead statutory audits, liaise with auditors and tax advisors, and support annual tax filings.
  • Process Optimization: Streamline accounting workflows, internal controls, and integration of financial processes into NetSuite.
  • Local Expertise: Monitor and advise on Swiss regulatory, financial, and tax changes.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with Group Accounting & Tax, Legal Finance teams, and local stakeholders to support finance-driven decisions.

You

Education & Experience

  • have a Bachelor’s or master’s in accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • bring approximately 5+ years in accounting, with first management experience.
  • have prior experience, working in international or multinational Swiss entities.
  • are proficient with NetSuite; or have experience in ERP implementation/integration.

Technical Proficiency

  • posess strong accounting knowledge: GAAP FER, Swiss VAT.
  • have a proven track record in month-end close, consolidation, audits, and statutory and management reporting.
  • are fluent in English and German; proficiency in French is a plus.

Leadership & Soft Skills

  • gained first management experience.
  • apply a strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
