The purpose of this role is to plan, develop, direct, execute and monitor sales activities within a specified market segment to achieve established sales targets. You will promote and sell spare parts, service and projects.
You'll be instrumental in driving sales growth and optimizing performance. Your day-to-day will involve developing equipment and service sales budgets and plans for your assigned market segment, or specific customers. You'll also negotiate sales with both existing and new clients. Furthermore, you'll contribute to preparing accurate sales and service forecasts and budgets. You'll monitor sales revenues against forecasts to proactively identify and address potential issues, and adapt procedures and priorities to continuously enhance overall performance.
Reporting directly to the Regional Account Manager. The position will be based in MacGregor’s office in Hamburg, Germany.
The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional and possess technical or business background. As a strategic thinker, you are adept at developing market-specific budgets and using market intelligence to drive growth and retention. You are a disciplined communicator who excels at managing customer relationships and is comfortable traveling approximately one week per month to engage with clients. Ultimately, you are a self-starter who can bridge the gap between technical requirements and commercial success to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.
